Day 1
Arrival at the Jungle's Heart
Your adventure begins with a greeting at Mundo Maya Airport followed by a private 4x4 transfer to our base camp in Dos Lagunas. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a welcome dinner under the forest canopy and receive an introduction to the local conservation projects being conducted.
Day 2
Wildlife Tracking and Water Holes
We will explore hidden water points essential for local fauna. You will actively participate in reviewing camera traps and learn jaguar tracking techniques with our experts, followed by an afternoon of observing endemic birds in their natural lush habitat.
Day 3
Night Expeditions and 4x4 Safari
We venture into the deepest zones of the forest in all-terrain vehicles. As night falls, we will conduct a guided hike to discover the fascinating nocturnal life of the jungle, observing species that only emerge under the protection of the dark.
Day 4
Conservation and Botany Hikes
A day dedicated to understanding the flora of the Maya Jungle. We will engage in interpretive hiking where every step reveals medicinal secrets of the forest and participate in talks about the infrastructure needed for long-term habitat protection.
Day 5
Final Encounters and Sanctuary
We will enjoy final sighting sessions in strategic photographic blinds. The afternoon is reserved for reflection and rest in the exclusive eco-conscious cabins, allowing for an intimate and peaceful connection with the sounds of the natural sanctuary.
Day 6
Maya World Farewell
After one last breakfast in the jungle, we will begin the return transfer to Mundo Maya Airport. You will take with you not only photographs, but the satisfaction of having contributed directly to the preservation of one of the planet's great lungs.
